Emily Livengood
Art and creativity are important grounding forces in my life.
My paintings often explore the beauty of the natural world, highlighting
the plants, animals, and places that bring me joy.
I grew up in both Georgia and Wisconsin in a family full of scientists who
happened to have great admiration for the arts. After studying ecology and illustration
at Iowa State University, I moved west. I have since completed my
doctorate and am a practicing naturopathic doctor in Bend, Oregon. When
not painting or seeing patients, I am out playing in the mountains with my
family.
